3D animation and stock brand film created for Orgvue. Produced, edited and animated by Dreaming Fish Productions.

The client and the brief
Software company, Orgvue needed a new brand film to replace an older video that no longer matched the companyβs updated look, message or positioning. The existing film was a few years old and while it had served its purpose, it felt dated in style and tone, not what you want as the first thing people see on a homepage, at an event stand or in a top-of-funnel campaign. This project was about creating a modern, high-impact hero video that captured Orgvueβs βwhoβ and βwhyβ without turning into a product walkthrough.
The core brief was simple but demanding: create something visually striking and emotionally engaging, without relying on UI screens or product footage. That was also an intentional creative steer on our side: a strong brand video shouldnβt over explain the βhowβ. It should communicate the purpose, value, and confidence behind the brand, then leave space for product demos and feature content to do the detail work later.
The result needed to feel universal and sector-agnostic, speaking to organisations across industries and functions (not just one department or use case).
The design and approach
Orgvue already had a clear direction: they wanted a 3D-led visual language that aligned with new assets being developed for other marketing channels, including website stills, social content, and event stand graphics. Our job was to take that emerging design world, recreate the look faithfully, and then bring it to life with motion, depth and rhythm.
We developed an abstract 3D animation approach where moving parts and interlocking forms represent what Orgvue enables: flexibility, control and deep insight without locking the story to a single sector or workflow. Itβs intentional abstraction; it suggests complexity handled with clarity.
Alongside the 3D world, Orgvueβs marketing team felt strongly that the film needed real human faces to keep it grounded and relatable. So we integrated carefully selected stock footage to introduce human presence and emotion, balancing abstract, high-end motion design with authentic human moments.

Words from our Animation team lead, James
“Once weβd settled on the look for the components, I started exploring interesting ideas for movement. The idea was to have lots of these panels moving in harmony with each other. This was a complicated challenge as, while the movement needed to feel a mixture of random and coordinated, I also wanted the panels to feel like physical objects. I had to work with a mix of procedural movement and physics simulations that I think came out looking very nice.
I took a different approach with rendering this video to our previous 3D jobs, splitting it out into passes so I could adjust more of the look in the compositing stage. This helped me get the colours more consistent and allowed me to tweak the lighting at speed in response to client feedback.”

The brand film
The final hero film gave Orgvue a refreshed and modern piece of brand content designed for website headers, social cutdowns, paid campaigns and even event use, with a consistent visual identity that could extend into future content.
Client feedback
The feedback we received from Orgvue was extremely positive, both on the creative and the working process:
βDreaming Fish have brought real creativity and collaboration to all of our video content. From product videos and demo content, through to complex 3D animations, the team have consistently delivered excellent content to time and budget.β
