Merry Christmas!
Well, that was a year! In 2023 we completed over 230 projects for 80 different clients. We travelled to 12 different countries, including filming in Florida, San Francisco, Geneva, Zurich, Krakow, Paris (twice), Hong Kong, Jakarta, Singapore, Sofia, Dublin, Scotland, Denmark and Berlin, and we managed to work with both animals and children! 👧🏻👦🏻🐾
Through the year we’ve said hello to some fabulously talented new team members and sadly said goodbye to some long-standing team friends too, and we wish them the very best for the future. We’ve also made some lovely new agency friends and worked on projects that have pushed our skills to new heights, particularly in 3D and character animation. Also massive congratulations to our friends at Reward Gateway and ForgeRock – we’ve watched both companies grow over the years and both were sold this year for valuations of over $1bn!🦄 In what has been another challenging year for many companies, including some of our clients, we can only hope that next year is a better year for everyone.
We care 🩷
As part of living our ‘We Care’ value we were delighted to welcome 16 work placement students into the office, ranging from 15-year-olds on their first work experience right up to university students approaching their finals. We also continued to support our chosen charities including Leukaemia UK, WWF UK and Tree Aid, as well as providing pro bono work to local mental health charity, Oakleaf. Ben and I even volunteered to walk on hot coals to help raise money to support their ongoing work in the local community.🔥
Thank you to all our lovely clients, suppliers and friends for your support this year, and a big thank you to the DF team who kept going through the ups and downs and delivered amazing work throughout.
