I just reread the message from last year and was surprised by how much and how little has changed in the last 12 months.
We did manage to achieve some semblance of normality during the year here in the UK, if somewhat briefly, and at least, for now, Christmas will be going ahead and we can see and hug our loved ones properly. Personally, I never want to do a Zoom Christmas again!
On the positive side, 2021 has been a really good year for DreamingFish and also for many of our clients, particularly ForgeRock who floated on the NYSE earlier this year – massive congratulations!
Weāve seen live action filming pick up again since the lockdown back in the first part of the year and also a continued rise in demand for animation. Weāve added over 30 new clients and the team has also increased as we welcomed four lovely new faces!
While the world out there remains very uncertain, I remain grateful every day for our incredible customers, our dedicated suppliers and the amazing DF team who show up with a smile and work tirelessly to ensure that we deliver our very best work, every day. Thank you!
So Christmas 2021 may not be quite what we had planned, but we can look to 2022 and feel positive that though we arenāt out of the woods yet, with some caution and careful planning, we can make sure the New Year is an even better year.
