Leukaemia UK are a fantastic charity who have been funding research into leukaemia and various other blood cancers for well over 40 years. Did you know that someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer every 16 minutes? As well as providing ongoing support to their patients, Leukaemia UK also provide care and advice to families who are affected by their loved ones’ terrible news.
To continue funding their research, the blood cancer charity offers lots of fundraising events for people to take part in in-order to help them raise money and awareness. On Sunday 23rd April 2023, several runners joined #TeamLeukaemiaUK to run the London Marathon.
