UNLEASH World 2024 is back
After the success of last year’s UNLEASH World, the global digital media and events company invited us back to support their 2024 Paris expo. Annually, UNLEASH hold two HR events; one in Las Vegas and one in Paris, to cater for all worldwide HR businesses. The two-day conference is always a huge success and “It’s where those shaping the future of work and technology, come together to network, do business and share ideas.”
Like last year, UNLEASH asked us to create two onsite highlight videos (one per day) and a promotional trailer (at DreamingFish HQ) to build excitement for the next expo. In addition, they also wanted interviews with guest speakers and vox pops from attendees and exhibitors, to be shared post event. Having partnered with UNLEASH before, we were thrilled to dive into UNLEASH World 2024. With such a fast-paced expo ahead, we relied on a detailed production schedule to keep everyone on track. Our Producer, Lucy, ensured everyone had copies of the Day 1 and 2 schedules.
With growing content demands this year, our expanded 7-person crew included: four videographers (two for b-roll and two for interviews/vox pops), a producer, a production runner & MUA, and an onsite video editor. With the team in place, we were ready to take on both days of the expo!
The expo
We arrived in Paris on Tuesday (by Eurostar!) and headed to the venue to set up, ensuring we were ready to go first thing Wednesday morning. With a jam-packed two day event ahead, we made sure our production team were aligned. The interview team set up on the top floor, while our onsite editor worked in the UNLEASH room downstairs. During the event, the b-roll team handed over footage while our editor started assembling the 60-second highlights video. Both days ran super smoothly and we captured some really great content!
Wednesday (Day 1) highlights
Day 1 was a huge success with thousands of guests arriving from all over the world to attend the ‘most influential HR event in the world’. The exhibition floor was buzzing with representatives from businesses like AWS, HiBob, SmartRecruiters, ORACLE, eightfold.ai, Workday, Edenred and many more. Day 1 featured inspiring talks from global thought leaders Peter Hinssen, Josh Bersin, and futurist Amy Webb. Check out the highlights below.
Thursday (Day 2) highlights
Day 2 brought even more attendees, breakout sessions and inspiring talks from leaders like Claire Isnard (Chanel), Peter Lynch (Cardinal Group) and Dr. Kirstin Ferguson. Check out what went down on day 2 of our highlights!
