The Great Green Goal
We at DreamingFish are super proud to support our charity partner, Tree Aid. In this blog, we wanted to help shine a light on the incredible work they are doing. In their fight to tackle climate change and its devastating effects, they have launched the #GreatGreenGoal appeal. This inspiring project is part of the wider African-led Great Green Wall movement, which aims to grow trees, restore vegetation, and bring life back to degraded land across the Sahel region.
Additionally, by restoring fertile land and expanding green spaces, this project is helping to combat desertification while generating sustainable jobs, boosting local economies, and providing food security for communities who need it the most.
Just last year alone, Tree Aid grew around 1.8 million trees—that’s the equivalent of planting one tree every 19 seconds! Each tree makes a difference, offering shade, nutrition, and the promise of a healthier planet for future generations. Check out the explainer animation we created below.
