2x event highlight videos and 1x overall highlights for Blueprint Event Company. Produced, filmed and edited onsite by Dreaming Fish Productions in Detroit, Michigan.
The client and the brief
Having worked with Blueprint Event Company on their European leg of the ‘Lubricant Expo and Bearing Show’, in Düsseldorf last year, we jumped at the opportunity of working with them on the North American version of the event, in Detroit, Michigan. Detroit’s version of the event was over 3 days (March 18-20th) with the required deliverables being 2x day highlights and 1x overall event highlights video (on day 3), to be edited and delivered onsite. Having created several event highlight videos in the past, and having previously worked with Blueprint last year, we were super excited to collaborate with them on this project. After a few calls with the team, our Producer, Lucy, got started on planning the shoot days, making sure we captured everything that was happening over the busy 3 day expo.
Tuesday (Day 1) highlights 🎥
To kick off the event, day 1 was filled with thousands of visitors, from all over the world, across the marine, automotive, energy and chemical (to name a few!) industries. As well as filming b-roll across the event space, we also carried out interviews with a range of different exhibitors and event speakers. Day 1 was a huge success and everyone was super excited and friendly. Check out the highlights and a few BTS photos below.👇🏼
Wednesday (Day 2) highlights 🎬
Much like Day 1 of the expo, Day 2 of the event brought a similar buzz with it, with even more speakers/talks, demos and networking opportunities. Maria Sole Signorni from Petronas Lubricants International loved the expo, saying: “My expectations have been more that met over the course of the show. It’s nice to see the industry come together and not to speak about today but looking at tomorrow and how this industry can collaborate to find new solutions.
