DF x TO | City Life, Episode 4

ep4 cover b

The nights may be getting longer and colder but we won’t let that stop us from having a good time. Episode 4 of City Life is all about delving into the cool and quirky places that surround London’s busy and bustling nightlife. We go behind the scenes at an extravagant drag show, try some tasty tacos and much much more. Let’s get into the 5 pillars. Which places will you adding to your list?

Comedian Josh Weller takes us to Del74 Tacos located on Kingsland High Street in Dalston, to try out some of their tasty tacos, tostadas and quesadillas. For only Β£2 a taco, Josh had a feast full of different flavours. He ended his late night meal with a nice shot of Tequila, because, it’d be rude not to! Check out the video here.

What could be more fun than a game of guess the song/artist on a Friday night? We head down to the award-winning Irish pub Waxy O’Connor’s, to ask some willing punters to take part in this musical challenge. Would you have guessed the songs right? Find out here!

In this pillar, we compare 2 London bars Coupette in Bethanl Green and Ridley Road Market Bar in Dalston against different categories like vibe, music and drinks! Which bar takes your fancy?

We meet comedy/theatre duo Louise Mothersole and Rebecca Biscuit (Sh!t Theatre) and task them with a good old game of This or That, to see how many times they can say the word “sh!t!” in a sentence. Keep your eyes on that sh!t counter!

Ever wondered what a London drag show looks like? Wonder no more! We met drag queen Baby Lame, behind the scenes at her show (with special guests @lady.noelia, @misslucindabhind and @mrdannyash) to ask some burning questions about her look and drag inspiration.
